1911 Mecca Double Folders - Is is trimmed. miscut or ???

I have sold many 1911 Mecca Double Folders over the years. One thing that baffles me are the occasional cards that are crooked. I don't know how to describe them. Are they trimmed, miscut or something else? Here are two examples. What would your opinion be?

miscut imo...as u say...you see them often!

Thanks Pete. Still a great set.

So based on those cuts, I guess those cards were cut from the sheet after they were folded over.

Yeap, the T201s have some of the most trimmed looking mfg cuts I have ever seen. In one of our last auctions I could have sworn a T201 we had was trimmed. I would have bet on it. Then I spoke with my auction partner who said to fold it over then look at it. I couldn't believe it. It wasn't trimmed but was cut after folded, making it look really wavy. Here are a few neat ones..but they are quite miss cut.

Leon, thanks for sharing those images. It's true what you say about folding them over. They look perfect after folding.

I wonder how they would grade? Do you think they would receive a MC? I have seen cards where they have sharp corners, no creases and everything else is just great except for the miscut.

If any card is worthy of a MC qualifier...it'd be these!!!! Luckily the severe miscuts likely command a slight premium to some so grade is not terribly important.

I think they should grade them without an MC but what do I know? Whomever grades them might not put the time into figuring them out that we do :).
