1971 Topps "Pin-Ups"
Everyone knows the type of cards I collect. Off condition, beat up, collector grade, CHEAP! A couple of years ago, at our local monthly show, I purchased a near set of 1971 Topps "Pin-Ups" 31 0f 32 (missing only Butkus), for $100. All PSA graded! About $3.25 each?
I guess the dealer was tired of dragging them around:) Anyway I've been scouring eBay trying to find a PSA graded Butkus to complete this set, but never had any luck until last week. I won this card for the opening bid of $9.99 plus $5 to ship. And I am PROUD to report I own the SECOND ranked PSA set! Well there are only two full sets:) http://www.psacard.com/PSASetRegistr...x?setid=133120 Larry |
Very cool, Larry! That's a LOT of plastic you're lugging around now, though ;-)

Nice work Larry. That is an interesting set and it's a good feeling to find that last piece of the puzzle.

Awesome! Larry, I didn't have you pegged as one of these collectors competing for the top registry spot - your full of surprises. Seriously, congrats on finishing another set and thanks for sharing - I love seeing images for a whole set in one place.
