How Much for this Clemente RC?

I am talking with someone wanting to sell his collection. We are wanting to get a starting point using this card as well a basketball set as they are the main valuable ones. Lots of stuff in the '80s. Yes I know about them. However, neither of us are up on the value of this card and we don't want to make a bad deal either way. Basically what would you charge or pay for this card? I know the pic isn't the best, but the biggest issue you can see is the corners. Everything else looks good.

Would you consider it VG?

This one is listed for $630 and looks really nice for "GOOD". I would say that would be the high mark, others on COMC have sold for $500 in FAIR, $400 in PR/FR in raw condition.

Type in 1955 Topps Clemente in eBay the n hit "completed listings" link on left side.... Find one in similar condition.... Would recommend PSA authenticating it no matter the condition.....

The centering is horrific on that copy! Needs to be factored in.

It might be a 1 but it certainly looks to have a strong image. Lots of 1's have images that are all scraped up.

I would pay $325, I would make sure that isn't a stain in the white border above Bob's hat???

Looks like it would grade a psa 2 mc to me. $300 or so sounds about right.
