FS: 1892 John L. Sullivan vs Jim Corbett Ticket
 

I wanted to see if anyone wants to make a quick purchase. If this doesn't sell by Friday, I plan to consign it to an auction house @ the show in White Plains.

This 1892 John L Sullivan vs. Jim Corbett Ticket is slabbed by PSA as Authentic. It was slabbed prior to PSA assigning grades to tickets. It is in nice shape, as you can see in the scans. I'm not a ticket collector, so I'm not sure how to grade it.

A similar ticket just sold in the REA Auction for $2,200. The ticket in the auction was not slabbed.

I am asking $1,950 or BO. Please let me know before Friday if you have any interest. Thanks.

I think the stamp also dates back to 1892. It has faded over time to the point that I can't make out any more information than you have posted above.
