President William H. Taft signed appointment document
 

Signed document dated Jan. 27, 1911 appointing Kent Nelson to the rank of Major in the medical Corps. In excellent + condition, seal is virtually intact. There are the usual vertical and horizontal folds but they are extremely light. This is a beauty. $400 + $20 UPS insured.
