Every major league and a lot of minor league teams make facsimile
Baseball

People have them and 60% think they are real.

Impress your friends by spending 80 bucks on a Ruth

Completed items

Someone paid $105 knowing it was a Cobb reproduction

While it sucks, not a whole lot can be done. I guess you can simply arm yourself with knowledge and prevent yourself from being ripped off.

Not your wife, not your kids, not your grandkids.....and not the auctioneer when he goes to sell this piece of garbage when your dead.

I to have seen these.. I'm sure some of the autos will pass authentication, unfortunately.

Also, I think the seller should put "facsimile" or "reproduction" in the heading...not just the description. It's a bit deceptive to leave it out of the title of the item.

Jim.
The difference being the team facsimile signed baseballs are very easy to tell, you can tell from a digital pic. The single signed facsimile baseballs are not so easy to tell.
