Failed login attempts? Heads up ....
 

Hey Folks
Just a heads up that 2 members just reported some kind of failed login report from our board. I have no idea what it's about but it is the message a member gets through our s/w when they try to login unsuccessfully. Just a heads up, not sure what to make of it.

Someone has tried to log into your account on Net54baseball.com Forums with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 4x.1xx.x23.x0

I don't think you need to be logged in to see the main board.

Correct. You only need to be logged in to see the BST areas and certain other things but the main forums are read only for everyone, logged in or not.

I have not been able to log in for some time. I can read the board, just can not post, and access other features.

That little green dot next to your user id means you are logged in now. Also, you can ONLY post a message if you are logged in. You can't if you aren't. I will look into your specific situation Peter.....

Peter- I just reset your settings but everything looked fine to start with. We might want to check what email you have on file to make sure it is correct.....Let me know if you are still having any issues on the board, Private message or posting here is fine..
