WTB Spring Training and Hot Springs Memorabilia
Hi Guys!
I am still looking for anything and everything related to baseball in Hot Springs to put in my new museum, The Hot Springs Baseball Museum. Most of you know, HS was the home of MLB spring training from 1886 until the late 1920's. Individual players and negro league teams continued to visit the "spa" even after teams had went elsewhere. If anyone has any RPPC, wire/news photos, newspaper clips or anything else regarding spring training, Lon Warneke, the Hot Springs Bathers or Rogers Hornsby Baseball College please private message me or send me an email lambert.mckinzie@yahoo.com Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you! When will your Museum be opening? I'd love to make the trip down to HS and take a tour. Do you have a website? I actually own a Mini Bat souvenir that has "White Sox Bathers" on it....not looking to sell but will keep you in mind if I do eventually.

Hi Brandon,
We are putting the final touches on the museum now. All that is left to do is move the exhibits out of storage and into the building. If everything goes as planned we will officially open on Mid-April. I will keep you posted. We have a website, however it hasn't launched yet. If you're on Facebook "like" us Hot Springs Baseball Museum. Please keep me in mind if ever do decide to sell, I would love to add your bat to the collection. Also, one of the former White Sox/ Bathers, Mr Dean Friend passed away this week. Thanks for your interest and hope to see you soon! |
