Dean's Cards now cross-listing on COMC

Interesting new wrinkle to COMC.com as a retail seller, which may come in handy for some on here. Dean's Cards is now cross-posting many of their cards to comc, so that you can purchase them through their site (or make offers), and then have all your cards shipped at one time, rather than letting them sit in your shopping cart for days on end. So if you're a buyer from Dean's, you should create a COMC account in order to take advantage of current prices without having to pay shipping every time you want to buy an item.

Also, it looks like COMC has been getting enough complaints about their slow shipping, since many of their sellers in Canada send to the Canada headquarters. When a US person bought their cards in the past, they were not notified that the cards would first be mailed to Washington state, then repackaged and sent out with the rest of their order. Items not at the Seattle area warehouse are now marked "Remote Item" so that you can weigh whether or not you want the item ASAP.

I dont know how Dean's Cards gets sales to begin with. He has a history of raising the prices higher than his original inflated price when someone has made an offer. Anyway, to each their own.

That's my experience too. I used him as a resource when building my 1970s Topps sets because of the large inventory and fairly user-friendly online store, but his prices are not competitive at all. When doing general ebay searches, I have come to recognize his images and pass right over them.
