Your three favorite championship rings

I wanted to start a thread and ask what's your favorite championship ring (owned or just admired, doesn't matter).

As I thought this through, I realize it's hard to narrow it down to a single ring since there are so many gorgeous rings that have been awarded over the years.

Here are my favorite 3, let's see yours!

1) The 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers ring (maybe because it's the one and only ring they ever won in Brooklyn.

2) The Patriots Super Bowl XXXIX ring. I hate the Patriots but I live rings and this one is simply amazing and dazzling.

3) The Red Wings ring - Just beautiful style and use of colors...

Great choices, Michael. I really like the Red Wings ring as well. I don't have the means to purchase one of these pieces of art at auction, but I can appreciate the hobby and I admire your passion for it. Although some of your threads may not get the most action, I think that's just a result of this type of collectable being "upper tier" (ie. these damn things are expensive!). And there's a reason for it... some of these rings are beautiful and carry a history with them that a card can't approach.

Here's my picks, in no particular order...

1. Another Wings example (they knew how to do rings). This one from 2008. Just the right amount of bling, and I like the franchise Cups represented on the side.

2. 2006 Pittsburgh Steelers. I like the design of the front, with the 5 football shaped diamonds. Classy.

3. 1927, Murderer's Row, the Yankees 2nd WS win, and the first time the team was given rings. I love the simple design and vintage look. Shown here is Earle Combs' example.
