Ultra Rare 1992 Topps James "Jim" Beckett BGS 5 Sample/Test Card
 

In 1992, Topps produced a set called "Stadium of Stars" about key hobby executives. Some people handed these out readily, like our very own Rich Klein! Others were like Dr. Beckett, who is a bit shy and didn't like handing them out. As a result, there are virtually none of his cards on the open market. This one is extra special as it was used as a sample card internally (I helped start BGS/BVG in 1999) when testing Beckett Grading slabs. You can clearly see the different label and low serial number (#007). Own a piece of history here :-)

Opens at $10 with increments of $1 and winning bidder to pay $3 shipping. Payment via money order or check. Ends Wednesday, March 4th at 8 PM CST.
