Ott signed card

I figured I'd post this encase the buyer is a member. This ott card was sold at a auction in byfield, MA. I had shown it to one of best auto experts and a fellow board member last week. They both felt it was fake(possibly signed by the young collector many years ago) or traced over.
The auction had acouple other signed cards, terry, hubbell, etc and a large amount of non signed sports cards(two gehrig goudeys). They also had a real ott auto on a piece of paper. Well the ott signed card alone sold for $1,700. |

I can't post trying to help others??? I figured maybe the person who bought it was a member and would like to know they just spent $1,700 on a fake. |
Thanks for posting. It looks like it was traced over a forgery, unless Ott was signing from an awkward position.
Do you think kids back in the 1930's had access to authentic examples of signatures, so that they could create their own 'autographed' cards? If so, I could see a kid making the mistakes in this example. |

Just wanted to update. I found who the buyer wasn't and they said the ott passed authentication, not sure if it was JSA or PSA.
Here's two others that were with the lot. |
I'm no expert but looking at the other two the Hubbell and the other one. Thought maybe real it looks like the pen was the same and that it was bleeding into the cards

Just a guess, but I think they are real, and have been traced slowly, perhaps causing the bleeding/build up of the ink)...
