1970 Sports Stars Stamp Album with lots of unused/uncut stamps
 

Up for bids is an uncatalogued (as far as I know) partial set of 1970 Sports Stars. It was published by Glendale Publishing, and is a Stamp Album with 288 spots for stamps. The sheets were sold separately in multiple series.

Normally, you see these either blank, or filled with a lot of the stamps. This one, although the cover of the album is loose, is nice in that it features only a handful of stamps placed in the book with the vast majority unused/uncut. I would assume that the grading companies would allow you to handcut these stamps and submit them for grading, garnering some Mint and Gem Mint examples.

Includes 13 sheets of stamps - 6 are fully unused and 7 have a few cards cut out. Includes stars like Yaz, Aparicio, Tiant, Marichal, Bunning, Cepeda, Jenkins, Torre, Maz, Perry, Perez, Brock, Killebrew, Brooks Robinson, Oliva, Frank Robinson, etc. Hunter, Carew, Kaline, Gibson, Stargell, Bench and Rose are a few of the stamps already stuck in the book.

Auction starts at $5 with $1 increments, and winner adds $5 postage. Ends Saturday, Feb. 28th at 8 PM CST.
