T206 (Semi-new collector)

I started collecting t206's and t205's about 10 years ago when I was just 18. Financial reasons forced me to sell off my entire collection. However the past couple years I've started back up and now am up to 41 cards in my collection. Being a father (who's stuck paying child support UGHGHGHGHGH) I don't have a whole lot of money so condition isn't overly important especially when it comes to HOF's.

I'm currently constructing and almost finished with a master excel file full of multiple checklists of any and all possible cards in the t206 series.

I was trying to post a copy of my current collection for everyone but there was an error maybe because it's Excel 2013 ?

Anyway I'd love to hear from the regulars on this site about their collection and any details or suggestions for me is there auctions off this site ?

Thank God another T206 collector. I was beginning to think that I was the only one.

Welcome. And yes, there are auctions and cards for sale. Check the BST section. And you can find references to our collections all over the main board.

If you have any questions, just ask. We're always glad to help.

T206's? First I've heard of anyone collecting them. Are they any threads on them? Congrads and welcome to the monster.

I've seen a whole bunch of reasonably priced Wagner T206 on eBay lately...just an FYI:D

I don't know if it's possible to post an excel file here but if it is possible and the 2013 version is causing the problem try saving it as an .xls file rather than the new .xslx extension.

Welcome Josh.

You have certainly come to the right place if you want to discuss T206 (as you might have gathered from the previous posts). Not sure if you have been using the resource for your checklist work, but they have a great checklist page (http://t206resource.com/Checklist%20Main.html).

Not to mention that Wags is also available with several different backs...I just picked up a lot of 100 Drum backs for under $20...dude is getting cheap these days

Welcome to the board, Josh. A lot of T206's to be had on the BST in your price range...keep your eyes peeled!

I don't think you can post files here straight from your computer. You will need to use a host like Google Drive. You can download the Excel file into your Google Drive account and create a link. Then post the link and people will be able to view your document.

If you look in my signature there is a link called "T206 Portraits". This is a link to my Excel spreadsheet checklist on Google Drive.

Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome guys ! I'll work more on my profile and adding stuff this weekend.

The bulk of my checklists that I've been working on was based off of a downloadable .pdf by Scot A. Reader. It's a 83 page document discussing all sorts of interesting facts and in that .pdf.

If and when I feel that it is accurate after digitizing his version of checklists I'd be more than happy to share it with all of you so that you can use it as well !I'm sure you guys will have a lot more to check off than 41 cards haha.

I've been extremely addicted to reading up on the cards and have wanted to discuss and see what other buyers/sellers think and have. Needless to say browsing for a day or two I'm very JEALOUS haha.

Cheers !

Josh
