Extremely tough autograph of the legendary boxer Jack Johnson, all alone on an album page and uninscribed. Johnson is one of, if not the most desired boxing autographs, with very few examples for sale at any given time, and the ones that are for sale are typically priced much higher. This one is very nice as it's signed in black steel tip fountain pen, right in the center of the page so there is plenty of room to display and frame around it. Album page was part of a small collection of autographs that belonged to a young boy named Marshall, who gathered them in the New York City area in 1936 and 1937 that I purchased in its entirety.
