Visit to former Goudey Gum facility in Allston, MA

It's easy to find Goudey's former HQ and packaging facility on a map at 52 Everett St in Allston, MA and I'm interested in visiting once Boston's snow recedes enough to make it practical.

The building's a soundstage now ("Studio 52") and based on a 2009 Non-Sports board post, at least a handful have visited the site.

Unfortunately, several of that thread's photo links are expired and goudey.org is itself defunct. Have any Net54ers visited 52 Everett St. in the last few years? If not, are people interested in fresh site photos or other info from the neighborhood when I do?

Speaking of 1930s Goudey, this recent eBay listing shows an original Knot Hole League promo letter "signed" by Lou Gehrig and its envelope, circa 1934. Nice look at how Goudey promoted their wrapper premiums.

Would love to see photos or any other information! I was born at St E's about 1 mile from there!

I would also be interested in seeing some photos and/or some background history. I love that kind of stuff. Keep us posted Spike

Bought my partial '33 set in Allston in 1993 from the original owner. Never knew he grew up and built his set around the corner from the factory. Very interesting to know
