Help identifying this guy on a metal oddball?

I picked these up recently at a show...I'll do my best to explain what they are. They are metal, each approximately 3 inches high and 2 inches wide. They are approx. 2 mm thick and not malleable. They have a textured finish to them. The umpire is labeled in writing on the back as Ed Vargo but I'm not positive who's on the left (I need help with this too). My best guess is that they were cut from printing plates for a magazine or a newspaper, but I honestly have no idea.

EDIT: Seems these are indeed mag/paper printing plates, but I still need to know who the guy on the left is. Any help?

Any ideas?

Sigh...tried to attach them with Tapatalk but I guess it never took. They should be there now, I just uploaded them instead.

On the right? Umpire Ed Vargo. Not sure of the left.

I can see how the picture looks like that but in person I can say it's definitely not either

Guess I'll just have to have this as Unidentified Printing Plate Man :(

Hahaha!

In regards to "Specs" Toporcer - the glasses are dead on but the rest of him is not. Maybe this gentleman stole his glasses?
