Wanted 1956 Topps Cubs 1 dated gray back
 
I am looking to buy a 1956 Topps #11 Cubs dated GRAY back, preferred not graded but will consider all.

I am 99.8% sure that the 1956 Topps #11 Cubs team card dated is only available with a white back. The two non dated versions, name left and name centered, are available in both white and gray backs.

Cliff, that may explain why I have not been able to find one then. Thanks. I did send a note to PSA asking the question and maybe we can get 100%. I appreciate your response. Jim

Cliff,
You can make that 100% sure. I have heard from a fellow member with an explanation on the way the 1956 Topps were printed and from a person I consider an expert on variations, George Vrechek. George said none of the dated cards had gray backs. Thank you for your reply and I can cross another one off my list.
