SOLD: Babe Ruth autograph - JSA & PSA pre-cert

Signed Babe Ruth note + envelope it was mailed in - autograph comes with a full JSA letter and was pre-certified by PSA. I was able to find a 'New York Times' article dated February 8, 1943, that stated "Ruth's war work comes in the form of visiting various motion-picture theatres in the metropolitan area giving pep talks and urging movie fans to buy war bonds."

This note has written at the bottom "Sunday - Feb. 21, 1943 Ward Theatre". Through census records and a 1940 NYC phone book, I was able to determine that 'Anita Silverman' was Bernie's mother. She apparently procured the autograph for her son and then mailedit to him where he was stationed at Camp Perry, Ohio.

bump. Not a fire sell, but I'm a motivated seller. All of my autographs other than the Ruth ball and Johnson letter are available and will be posted a few at a time, over the next week or two. Then I will be okay and will dub what remains 'my collection' :)

The handwritten Honus Wagner letter on ebay is substantially lower via Net54.
