1931 St Louis Cardinals World Series Champs Team Signed and Game Used Baseball
6 Attachment(s)
Extremely tough year to find, Game Used 1931 World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball, featuring four Hall of Famers. Inscription on the sweet spot of the ball notes that it was used in a game between the Cardinals and Boston Braves, on Aug 26, 1931, and that Haines pitched that day.
Very clear Jim Bottomley signature, early career/rookie year of Dizzy Dean, Frank Frisch, Jesse Haines, and tough coach signature of Buzzy Wares. Full list of names on the ball is as follows: Gus Mancuso Jimmie Wilson Frank Frisch Clyde "Buzzy" Wares Pepper Martin Jesse Haines Jim Bottomley (difficult HOF signature, having passed away in 1959) Dizzy Dean Gabby Street Allyn Stout Ray Blades Jim Lindsey Andy High Bill Hallahan Ball itself is a rubbed down, John Heydler Spalding National League baseball. Just a great, team signed ball from one of the best, if not the best team in Cardinals history. This was purchased from the original owners family. I am posting this for sale here before any other venues, and it will be available until Friday. $3000 OBO |
One week bump, best offers welcomed.
