Why don't you provide something other than an attack? Either back it up or delete your destructive posts.
These baseballs are from the collection of a giant DiMaggio fan. He followed DiMaggio his entire life and collected over 40 autographs directly from Joe DiMaggio. I bought the collection from his daughter after his death. I have no reason to believe any of these are anything but authentic. If you bother to look at my original post, I guarantee them and offer 100% money back. I've never sold an autograph and had it come back as forged and I don't plan on these being the first. Take a look below at the autos of DiMaggio... which ones are fakes? Every one is PSA/DNA or JSA authenticated... lots of different styles to his autograph. It changed over time. |
Why did you include your DiMaggio ball in the bottom of the left hand column? You said you "guaranteed" they would pass, but above you say these are all PSA or JSA Authenticated...well which is it? Do you guarantee it will pass or is it already authenticated? If so, then what is the cert #?
|
I was asking that he picks out the fake ones vs real ones. I didn't word it very well, but was making the point that had mine been mixed with the others, he couldn't have picked just it. He backs nothing he says... just attacks and moves on. I back everything I sell 100% and will always make it right.
I've already sold several DiMaggio auto'd cards and balls from this collection that have been graded without any problems, so I wouldn't anticipate any of the remaining autos to be anything but authentic. |
Eric, as a courtesy I have edited my posts.
I will go through my Joe D. exemplars. If I have made a mistake, you will certainly get my public apology. |
I have never seen a DiMaggio ball with HOF inscription look like the one you have posted.

I wrote that I would come back and re-opine on the below "Joe DiMaggio" autographs:
All three below are not authentic in my opinion. As all matter of fact, they are horrid in my opinion. Attachment 175308 Attachment 175309 Attachment 175310 |
Not an "expert," no dog in this fight, but the G's in the OP black pen sig look like they took a long time to make.

Sorry, wrong section. Deleted.

Having bought things from Eric, I believe that there is no intent to deceive and that he believes the items to be good. There is also another good Dimaggio auto debate going on in the auto side of the forum. DiMaggio as has been been stated previously is a tough signature (at least for me) to positively ID. Having said that if Shelly hasn't seen this thread yet it might be good as a second opinion to weigh in as any confirmation by him that the sigs are bad (and the HOF 55 one is the one that makes me skeptical) would be helpful. Hope it all works out.
|
I know nothing of DiMaggio's sig, but I've bought cards from this seller before and he delivered everything as promised.
|
I agree with the last two posts.I've done many deals with Eric, and he has always been very fair.I don't think he is trying to screw anyone.

I never wrote "That Eric is trying to screw anyone."
But those three "Joe DiMaggio" sigs are forgeries. As for the other DiMaggio thread on the other side....... http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=199840 I called that "DiMaggio" on a baseball a forgery, which it is. |
Eric Matthews, the OP of this thread asked me in a PM "What are your credentials?"
I have "Long hours and a lot of years of studying credentials." I study autographs every day, Eric. I have also helped hundreds of people over the years. You ask about "credentials." Chris Morales claims to have "credentials" and look at the thousands upon thousands of forgeries that bear his name on his worthless COAs. The same can be said for Drew Max. Check out the link below, Eric. http://live.autographmagazine.com/pr...seball-auction Submit those three "Joe DiMaggio" sigs to PSA and then come back and prove me wrong. |
Being a long time member here, I will say that Chris is probably one of the most knowledgeable people on this board, specifically with vintage Yankee autographs (Ruth, Mantle, DiMaggio, etc.). If he says it's a forgery, it's a forgery. Google his name if you want his "credentials".
