Perforated cards
Does anyone have any suggestions for removing perforated cards from
their sheet. I never seem to be able to get them out without damage. |
Perforation
I think there has been some discussion of that in here in regard to Topps baseball stamps and the 51 red and blue back panels.
I am not a graded collector so not sure how graders evaluate such separations, but my experience in putting together my 67 Topps Punch Out set seemed to indicate that, contrary to what I had heard, cutting them seemed to work for that set. Those cards came in 3 card perforated strips. The cards are thick cardboard and the perforations quite big. There were two ways to separate them. Bend them back and forth until the perforations separated or cut them. If separated by bending there would be jagged perforated remainders on at least one end, and at both ends of the middle cards. Although I have been told by graded collectors that cutting is a no no, in putting together my set I came across several highly graded PSA cards with no jagged edge at either end. |

Thank you Al :)
