WTB: 1953 Topps Baseball 5 cents wrapper
Looking to buy a 1953 Topps 5 Cent baseball wrapper to go with my 1953 collection.
I think I have one, in MINT shape. What are you offering?
I probably can not afford a Mint one, but I'll PM you what I can offer.
Yea...we are miles apart. Would you like to see it anyway, so you know I am not BSing?
I am looking for a lesser condition version of the 1953 Topps baseball 5 cent wrapper.
Would you still want to see a pic just because? To show you that they exist? I know they are rare.
I'm working on a '53 Topps set and I'd like to see a pic if you don't mind.
Will do. Mine is in a framed display with some cards. I will take a pic when I get off work today.
Sorry...I was mistaken...mine is "just" a worthless 1 cent wrapper....carry on.

53T wrapper
Bobby,
No No..your wrapper not worthless Ok, yes its a 1 cent type..which instantly drops the value way down..and you framed it..and you ironed it out and took away the factory folds and that decreased the values even more....but still has value...not much..but a little....would 5 bucks be out of line ? |
Nice wrapper. That is what I want to do with a 5 cent example.
Very cool display. The 5 cent is green right? For some reason I'm thinking I've seen one before and it was green and red. I could be mistaken.
Yes. $5 is unheard of. I think I will keep it in mint shape all tucked away in the picture frame.
