Was I duped. Looks fake to me. I need help. Thanks. Label looks unprofessional and drawn am I wrong...look at the Star of David carved into it then it looks like it was restained. I'm pissed

Kevin, unfortunately I agree with you. The Spalding definately appears to be hand drawn. I hope you have some recourse.:mad:

I do Mike she had no problem returning my money said it was looked at by hunt auctions she bought it from hunts and they said it was all original I find that hard to believe but she had no problem with me sending it back

I have called Hunts to ask about old gloves (e.g-child vs adult), and they didn't seem to know much about them, so I would be inclined to take her at her word.

Yeah, definitely looks hand drawn.The right side of the circle is terrible, and worst of all, is the different thicknesses of the "Spalding" letters.

That's an absolutely awful fake, laughable. Kevin - glad to hear you got your money back. The end was also clearly restained, if it was ever black in the first place.

I too saw this on EBay and thought it looked fake. Whomever went to the trouble to fake this must be desperate. Don't feel to bad though because there were several under bidders on it too. I'm glad you got your money back.
