Produced for the Mets by Topps and distributed, 2 each, at two Mets home games in cello packs

Very cool...never seen these before!

For those not familiar with the issue, it should also be noted that these are the same size as the Topps Super Photos of the same year, 5x7. You really can't tell from a scan with no size reference otherwise.

The 1981 player's strike messed up the distribution of this set. IIRC, that's why there are far more of the first couple of cards available then the final two.

That is an interesting point Rich. I did notice that two of them seemed easier to find. I was lucky to get all 4 together, but became aware of them initially through Fritsch catalog, and then found them in SCD listed under Topps. Fritsch only offered 2 of them at that time

I assume I got my set off ebay. Funny timing, as I just uncovered mine a few days back. It was the Hodges appearance that made me chase it, otherwise I likely would have skipped right over it.
