New to T206 cards
 

Just wanted give a quick hello to all of the members on net 54. I have been collecting baseball cards for most of my life, but recently decided to put together a T206 Cubs team set. (I have never owned a T206 until about a month ago). No Im not really a Cubs fan, but my wife is and she doesn't seem to give me the look when spending $$$ on Cubs cards like she does when I'm buying cards for my regular collection! I have decided to focus on the Sweet Caporal backs to start with thinking they would be fairly easy to find! Starting to find out how hard the fact. 25's can be to come up with. :( I can now see why the T206 can be so loved and hated at the same time!

The Cubs are a great choice for the T206s. They were a great team of that era...really the last great run of cubbies teams and the last to win the World Series. You have a number of hall of famers. Brown, Tinker, Evers and Chance, though arguably the best of the Hall of Famers have great name recognition. The Lundgren is pretty tough and is not available in the Sweet Cap back.
