I don't normally share these, but figured since there is a spot now, I suppose I will.

Here are some from my collection.

Before I get yelled at (LOL) for shameless self promotion or ruining these photos, please note that there are websites out there that lift photos all the times, either for fake items on ebay or their own website promotions.

So that's why I put my website in the pictures, to discourage the reuse of these photos.

By the way, the third photo, of items from super bowl III is not an error on my part of not showing the Colts ring.

The Colts voted not to get rings since they were so upset they lost to the lowly AFL Jets. They elected to have solid gold, high quality watches awarded instead.

Thought I would share my two St. Paul Saints fobs :D

The first is Mike Kelley's to celebrate the 1919, 20, and 22 pennants. The second is a fob from the 1926 season.

Dave,

great rings!

There must be something symbolic about 221 Home Runs?

Can you let us know?

thanks

221

1947 Giants hit a combined 221 home runs, and the 1956 Reds tied that record. I believe the record wasn't broken until the 1990s.

I have written an article on these rings, but file size (pdf. file of over 1MB) prevents me from posting it here. If anyone would like a copy, just drop me a line.

Leon I would show off my wedding ring here but its not sports related but interesting none the less it is replica of "the one ring" from lord of the rings if you hold it up to the light you can faintly see laser etched writing. I think that makes me a nerd of some sort. haha

I know these are not worthy of being pictured with real Super Bowl Rings but they are all I have.

I bought them new from Balfour back in the day. They are limited to 5000 each.

Remember how huge gaudy pinky rings were cool back them. Yes I got them to fit my pinkie and wore them all the time.:D:eek:

thanks for showing the Mets ring, I have never seen that!

One year the Yankees did the same thing for an old timers game (2009)

My brother has that same ring on the left. It was given to him by one of our neighbors back in the day. Do you have any knowledge of the history of those rings?

I ordered mine from Balfour sometime soon after the super bowl in 92. I don't remember the price. They came in a nice ring box and included a certificate of authenticity. I still have them for both rings. They were in a mail order insert/ad in a magazine.

Always thought that 72 ring is one of the best looking rings made.
