Are these pins vintage?
I found a small group of these pins in an estate I purchased. They're about the size of a nickel. They look "vintage" but something seems off. First, they all have the same look. Second, the A's pin should date no later than 1954 but the earliest the Astros pin would be is 1965. Am I being too cautious or are these recent repros? Thanks.

Well they are older but in the 80s. Tin litho and were most likely on a big cardboard display made in japan. very crude team logos usually you see a yankee one with yellow printing on the front. Dont really go for much A dollar or two at best!

Ok, thanks. That makes sense considering where I got them.

Al knows his stuff, for sure, but I'm not even sure if they are as old as the 80s. Whatever the case, definitely not vintage :(

They came from the estate of a dealer who dealt in anything hot. I purchased about a million cards, a large number in the 1985-1991 range. I figure they probably come from the same era.

John you would be correct like I said 1980s pins... Many places but probably dime store or arcade or super market gum ball machines. If you sell them better off as a group than singles... Al
