FS: 1954 Topps set - sold
 

Hey Gang:

I gotta sell this, babies on the way. My 1954 set, minus a Hodges, is on the sale block. here is what I got:

Stars:

1 Williams – Crease free, corner/surface wear
10 Robinson – Crease free, obvious printer line, small corner wrinkle to b/l corner
13 Martin – Small corner ding to b/l, nice card
17 Rizzuto – spot of paper loss to back, a couple light wrinkle and corner/surface wear
20 Spahn – Light spider wrinkles running north from bottom border
30 Mathews – Crease free, corner/surface wear
32 Snider – 2 light crease to u/l
35 Wilhelm – Crease fre, nice
37 Ford – was psa 5
50 Berra – Creased thru glove
90 Mays – Crease free, nice
94 Banks – PSA 3 (mk), mk is on back just left of ‘shortstop” and is more of indent
128 Aaron – Ding the right border, surface wear
132 Lasorda – A couple corner creases
201 Kaline – PSA 4
250 Williams – PSA 4

The remainder of the set ranges from fr/gd to Ex+

Ex/nrmt 2%
Ex 5%
Vg/Ex 30%
Vg 40% or so
Gd 20%

There is no Gil Hodges card; I have to keep that one. There aren’t any real dogs, just a bunch that have some wear from 60 years on the planet. Backs are clean, no writing and all cards are authentic and unaltered.

I am open to offers on individual cards, but I do want and wait and sell as a set. $sold obo shipped, not looking for trades unless it involves e107s or CJs. I have a ton more scans and tons of references as well. Thanks for looking.
