Hello All,
I just wanted too let a few buyers know that I'll send the items out as soon as I can. Sorry about the delay. I live in Buffalo,NY!:(

Fred 11-20-2014 10:01 AM

Just send it USPS. The postal carriers now pick up items.

What?

You don't have a dog sled? ;) :)

That right there looks like "lake effect" snow.

Hang in there

Inquiring Minds Want To Know......

...why would anybody ever spend a second winter in Buffalo after spending a first winter in Buffalo ?

Jay Wolt 11-20-2014 10:42 AM

I know I will regret saying this.......But I'm looking forward to the 1st snow storm here in PA.

Granted 2-6 inches will do, not that 70" that Larry got w/ 30" more on the way,
Can't comprehend what Buffalo is going through right now.

The media has given Buffalo a bad rap as far as snow goes. Syracuse gets more snow annually than Buffalo:eek:

seablaster 11-20-2014 10:44 AM

Stay warm Larry.

I'm glad I bailed when I did.

There has been no mail service for 2 days and counting!

The dogs bolted on me! Yes that's lake effect!

Man, I feel ya! It is 64 and partly cloudy here. PARTLY CLOUDY!!! I don't know how we will make it through.

We do have a high surf advisory. Seriously, stay warm. Any word on the plans for the Bills game?

The irony! My son is in Syracuse right now and due to speak at a conference. When life deals you snow, make snow angels. And please, don't shovel.

freakhappy 11-20-2014 11:37 AM

Crazy stuff going on in Buffalo right now! Stay warm and safe, Larry.

I bet kids get half of the school year off due to weather up there. To be a kid again...

Runscott 11-20-2014 11:55 AM

Holy cow - cold with heavy snow…in Buffalo !?!?!

This was the first thing my girlfriend had to tell me about this morning. If she had the sense to watch more football, she would not be so surprised. Not sure what beer drinking teaches you though.

Stay warm Larry, if that's possible.

mrvster 11-20-2014 01:08 PM

There goes your preferred seller status on eBay...sorry, but you didn't ship within your stated handling time!!

No word yet on how the NFL and the Bills will handle the ticket situation,
but as season-ticket holders, we'd better be getting either a refund or a
courtesy limo ride to Detroit...

MikeGarcia: a thousand reasons. We love our Western New York winters.
This one, not so much, but they're like this one about twice in a lifetime.

Rickyy 11-21-2014 12:58 AM

Hang in there Larry! Good thing my last memory of being in your neck of the woods was during the summer.... brrrrr...

GasHouseGang 11-21-2014 09:54 AM

I heard they are going to play the game Monday night in Detroit. So there will be two Monday night games. I doubt they will show the game anywhere but New York, but who knows.

Fred 11-21-2014 10:13 AM

Seriously, they're not going to play football in Buffalo because of a little snow? What's this world coming to... pretty soon they'll be telling horse jockeys not to use their whips so often because it's cruel and unusual pain being caused to the animal.... oh, they've already done that... I guess a softer, gentler world is where we all need to live. Going forward, I think in a war people should not shoot each other and that the death penalty should be abolished because we certainly wouldn't want to seem like a cruel society that can't rehabilitate these criminals.... Wow,,,, where did that come from...:eek::eek: I'm starting to scare myself....

They might have to rewrite that - I've never seen a postal carrier in the gloom of night either.

Best of luck to all in Buffalo. On the plus side, I'll bet you're not having to deal with water rationing and a drought like here in California. There's always a trade off.

[QUOTE=DaveW;1346600]They might have to rewrite that - I've never seen a postal carrier in the gloom of night either.

It was back in the night. Around the time of Paul Revere (I know, I know.)

Thank you for providing me the opportunity to take a shot at one of the sayings in today's culture that I cannot stand.

clydepepper 11-21-2014 11:51 AM

I was born in Rome, NY - there was 7 feet of snow that day.

I'm sure glad we moved...good luck!
