You know there's variations for all those checklists, right? The one * and two * versions? You're not done yet! :-)

If you look at the back of the team checklist cards, at the bottom, there's the line "T.C.G. Prtd. in U.S.A.". In front of it is either one asterisk or two asterisks. Each team has a one asterisk and a two asterisk version.

did a google surch on that and there is very little info on them, they do exist but not a big deal by the looks of things as no one evens collects them.....they aren't even mentioned in the 1974 master checklist for the set so I don't think I will collect those

Reasonable. I wouldn't either except that I got so many from this last collection I bought that I figured what the heck. Anyway I probably have the ones you need but not in the condition you want. Sorry.

kind of a funny thing I have all of the checklists now except the royals and all of them have 2 * and today I picked up 2 of the ones I needed at a flea market and all the singles he had are 2 * version so 2 must be more plentiful than 1 is......interesting if you actually pay attention to it

I am not an expert on this variation at all and I don't want to hijack your thread anymore but I think you are right about the ** being more plentiful....
