T206 Joss POR brown Hindu 1 of 2 known

As far as I know there is 1 other one. Super appeal for the technical grade. Clean crisp back. SGC 30 due towrinkle near bottom. VGEX+ corners and centered well. PP gift, check or MO. Must have for the back collector. $7500 OBO.

Beautiful card... FYI.. While this is one of the tougher cads to find with a Hindu back, it is not 1 of 2... more like 1 of 7...

Good luck. Be well Brian

Thanks. Has there been more than 2 graded? Last I checked 1 PSA and 1 SGC. I could be wrong. Unless you know of 5 more not graded. Just looked up pops…see 1 for PSA and this one for SGC. There are actually more red hindus graded than brown in this pose.

Hi Jason.

I have seen a haggard looking SGC 1 on Ebay, a decent SGC 1.5 in Legendary, your very nice SGC 2 here on net54, and a very good looking PSA 4.5 on ebay, if I remember correctly.

Those pop reports do not really give the fully story, unfortunately.

Either way, wow, what a great card and a very lovely example you have! Best of luck to you.

There have been 4 graded by SGC and 2 by PSA plus the ones that PSA didn't designate the advertising brand on the flip.

Brown Hindus were printed during the 150 series. The Red Hindus were printed later. His pitching pose is available with a Red Hindu back (but not a Brown Hindu). Likewise, the portrait was not printed with a Red Hindu back.

Why is PSA report reflecting the 4.5 only and SGC shows 3 designated under what looks like Red Hindu and 1 (this SGC 30) in a separate report? Not debating, just asking. This one has the best frontal focus and color out of the 2 I know of. If anyone has a scan of another to compare please feel free to share.

If I understand correctly, SGC did not used to designate between specific back variances, for example the difference between a Brown or Red Hindu. Perhaps they are mixing up the portrait Brown and the pitching Red and lumping them together? I am really not too sure to be honest.

Your card is lovely.
