Vintage newspaper Babe Ruth Baltimore 1914
I don't have a picture or scan, but found this during the temporary move. Newark Star full paper from JUNE 24 1914. Decent shape, w tear on first page and some edge tears, but pretty solid.
What makes this a special paper is the sports pages, Besides FEDERAL LEAGUE and MLB activity, the International league is covered. Some guy named RUTH pitches a shutout for Baltimore in the game, in box score and is mentioned in the article. Would be great to frame /mat this page if you want.
