I have a vintage baseball uniform that I'm selling for my dad who is downsizing. From what I've been told on these boards - the jersey alone should be worth $200-300. The mitts each $20-40. I'm looking to get $150 for everything DLVD. I will also include what my dad says is a vintage football jersey (although it looks like a wool sweater to me as well as some vintage shoulder pads for free.

I am new to the forum, but have run numerous group PSA submissions on the CU forum, have over 2,900 ebay feedback and have an itrader on BO of 275. I'm sure there are members of the CU forum here that would vouch for me if you would like.

Since it is not 'pending sale', you should post as much - it will keep prospective buyers from spending too much time valuing it and sending you emails.

I had an email with someone interested. I'm waiting to hear back yet. I told you if I don't hear back from him I'd let you know. If he backs out I want to know who else is interested. I don't see the harm in that

He sent me a message saying he was interested but he hasn't been on since messaging me. He was first so I'm giving him a chance to respond. I wouldn't call it pending because he didn't give me a definitive answer. Again I'm sorry if something offended you, but that's the fair thing to me to do

I bought the grouping, and would like to put in a good word for Raiderguy...

I had told him I'd take it, provided the Jersey still had all of its original buttons, and there were no rips/tears (you can't tell from the provided pics). Since work keeps me from being at the computer for prolonged periods, I was unable to check back (or pay) for a few hours.

Regardless, I appreciated Raiderguy honoring the commitment, even though it was not yet a firm sale. So if anyone is to blame for the period of "limbo" it's me. :rolleyes:

You totally did the right thing. I hate to add this, but you are possibly in the minority. I've been screwed many times when someone offered more than me, after a deal was consummated.
