Looking for Cuban Cards!
 

Hey guys,
I'm just getting into Negro League Baseball and Cuban Baseball. FYI: I'm first generation Cuban American so this stuff is kind of important to me. I'm really familiar with the historical aspect of the Negro Leagues and Cuban Baseball but I want to get more familiar with the cards. I've come across great websites to help me out and some really nice people.

I'm currently looking to get the ball rolling on my vintage Cuban card collection.

Main Wants:
-1949/50 Alerta Antonio Alcalde Premium Picture Cards
-1947 Cafe Regil Team Cards
-Team Premiums
-Cards/Photos of the bigger players including Tiant, Minoso, Dihigo, O'Neil, Dandridge, etc.

I just bumped Tom Carfagno's thread, FS: 1945-46 Caramelo Deportivo Set In Album, because I thought it was a good deal, and I'm sure you'd do your best to preserve the heritage that the album represents.

If the set is still available and you're interested, I wouldn't mind some kind of partnership to get the couple of cards I needed. Of course, I understand that you might well want the whole set for yourself, but I mention it just in case.
