Is Bobby Poll from Autograph Reference a member?
 

He had purchased an item from me and requested a refund back in August, I refunded his money and asked him to return the photo.

He refused.

I've emailed him a couple times and called, but now he's ignoring my attempts to contact. I hope everything is alright - it was $150 item.

UPDATE: Bobby responded and it looks like we're all good.

He doesn't show to be registered....

Why would you refund before you had the product back?

If this was an eBay and Paypal transaction and all communication was done via eBay messaging, call eBay and perhaps they can do something. Note that I believe eBay policy is that the refund comes after the return.

Was this done through Ebay? Did he attempt to extort you with negative feedback if you didn't refund first?

I'll call him. He's an acquaintance.

I asked him to join up to resolve this. I am sorry, Jason - I know he has had a couple family issues in the past few weeks. I do not think anything nefarious is going on.

I appreciate the help Sean. All I ask is that he respond to the emails I have sent him. I will remove his name and edit everything out once he does.

Connie Mack Item was Returned
 

Hi Guys, Sean Bassik notified me regarding Jason's post. The Connie Mack Photo I purchased was reviewed by JSA and determined to be secretarial. I filed the claim with eBay, the refund was given and the item was shipped back last week. USPS # 9400109699937914058896 (should be there tomorrow). I purchase a lot of items and it's frustrating when items are not as described, fake, etc and you have to go through eBay to retrieve your money. Jason was quite the opposite in this case and I apologize for not getting the item return to him quicker.
