T206 John Titus

Can anyone explain why the T206 John Titus commands such high prices?

Well someone is hoarding them for one . He's also the only dude with a mustache, and having one, I can tell you it does command extra attention

This is the truth, but if you look up the past prices on cardtarget.com, you will see it didn't really command too much of a premium before the craze hit.

Wow, three of the top five threads right now are about Titus? There must be another card we can obsess about.

How about 4 of the top 6... I agree, what new card can be discussed?

Ok, here's one. Why are all the paddy Livingston t205's I see always thin in terms of width (narrow). This goes for graded and non graded, paddy always looks a bit skinny. Thoughts? Sheet cutting?

Paddy was always a chunky soul. He is holding in his gut, ergo messing with the expected subject/card size ratio.:D

I had noticed several of the Titus cards sell for over $200 on eBay and can't figure why. I just started collecting t206 and there no way I am paying that for a common
