What makes you say that? I'm by no means an autograph expert or a Greenberg autograph expert, but I own 9 of his autos and these look pretty spot on. Also, besides for the 1934 Goudey, I haven't come across a ton of fakes in my collecting him

As soon as I see ball wrapped in plastic, I run. Probably because that is how CC ships their baseballs.

These where both on ebay. no 1 :):):):):):):):):) number 2:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Number one ball sold for over a 1000

The first ball looks absolutely stunning. The second ball looks like absolute crap. I have not seen a cleaner single than the first one.

Greenburg pretty much signed everything in black sharpie those last couple of years. Myself, my brother and my dad got em at least twice each back then and they were all in black sharpie.

Black sharpie does not make it authentic. :)

Just my two cents: I've collected many directly from Greenberg in the '80s when he was still alive, and I think the first ball looks good. The second one...not so much....close (nice try by the forger), but no cigar.
