Came across this the other day and thought I would share... I have most of the players identified, however it can be difficult to know all of them. The photo is of an unusual size 20" x 15" appears to be original with time period.

This is going to be REALLY GOOD!

...as in, 'Ted Williams is the batboy' good.

Great looking and quite huge photo you have there. Can you tell us the players you have identified? And welcome to the forum too!!

Couple of things

1. Its not the "Boston" Red Sox. Probably 200-500 teams called themselves the Red Sox at any given time between 1900-1920

2. Its earlier than 1921, probably closer to 1910.

Sorry man. Only about 10 people are going to look at this thread anyways unless you put something like this in the title

"t206-freak-scrap-wetsheet transfer-sheet alignment-back overstamp-color oddity"

Rhys :)

Rhys, as soon as I read that he had identified most of the players, I was taken back to that photo ten years or so ago, where a forum member was positive he had id'd half of a major league team on a town ball photo. That experience taught me how strange and mysterious the human mind can be, and I was curious to see who this guy thought was in his photo. It can be a learning experience for the rest of us.
