PSA Autograph Send In

I don't normally collect autographs, but I do have a number of signed cards I would like to send off to PSA. I don't want them graded, simply just the "Authentic".

That being said, I know that PSA is having a special this month with graded cards. Does this apply to auto's that you simply do not want graded, and just the "Authentic"?

Below is what they have going on right now, or do I need to wait for another special? I've never done this before.

Hi Nate,

Your best bet is to call the customer service number printed right in the ad to ask your questions.

But I'll tell you what I think - this is not the right special for you. Far as I can tell you still have to pay full freight for "Authentication", and the only deal is 50% off the additional fee to go from "Authentic" to a number grade...which you don't want anyway.

You should consider SGC's special this month, which seems to be exactly what you want...and a very good price.

Example: take a Yogi Berra autographed card.

The PSA special (as I read it) is that you first pay the full $25 to have that auto deemed "Authentic", and then it is usually another $10 to have a number grade assigned to the auto, but this month, the $10 becomes $5...so you wind up with your Yogi card slabbed and the autograph is number graded for total $30.

The SGC special this month gets you the same Yogi card slabbed and the autograph graded "A" for $8.

Cheers,
Blair
