E91A John Kling
1 Attachment(s)
The 3 sets of E91 American Caramels don't get much love. While the first set E91A actually does resemble the players listed on the cards, the E91B and E91C sets reuse the poses and do not resemble the player listed.
After many years of searching, I finally landed an E91A John Kling. Patrick |
Cool card
Thank you for showing us. |
Klingy
Nice card Patrick from a fun and definitely misunderstand set, and just a slight correction. About 1/2 of the E91B set is a duplicate of the E91A set (same player designation and pose with only the back checklist different).
On a side note Kling is a player that did not get carried over into the E91B set. Brian |
E91A and M116 comparision

Here is a M116 of Kling...check out the facial similarities. The artist in these sets used the same photo source.

Here are the 3 E91s that use the same pose:

Carry over set B
Hi Brian,
Thanks for your responses. Unless I'm missing something, James Archer is the card in set B that carries over the Kling E91A design. Thanks, Patrick |
it's weird they made them progressively smaller...............(drum roll please)

E91's are cute

Look at the Kling again. The exact angle of the head, placement of the ear, even his beady little eyes are on par with what is seen on the M116 card. The artist just liked to make his players look a little more "cheruby".
