Come on $37,000 but he couldn't add free shipping?

I'll gladly sell my 83 Bowa for only 25,000. AND I'll throw in the rest of the set if you want it. Maybe even one of those inch thick screwdowns if I can find it. FREE personal delivery anywhere in the US. Ask nice and I'll bring a 6 pack of your favorite beer. :D

But not whatever that seller prefers, it's probably not legal.

As a Pirates fan, I can't tell you the number of times I wished Bowa got a certain part of his anatomy kicked. Bruce Kison summarized it best when he said that Bowa would be around for the start of things, but not the end.

Maybe he is actually selling Bowa and the card is just a representation of what you'll get. Although personally I think the 2005 Topps would be a little closer to reality...

I sent him a message asking if there was any way he would take a little less for the card...he has neither responded nor corrected the listing. Yet another serious dealer who stays on tops of things. little lol

Bowa

I was actually going to offer him a penny for the heck of it but then noticed if he accepted, he would charge me $1.26 total and STILL make money after he threw it in an envelope with 1 stamp on it! :o
No offer from me!

PS Bowa hit .105 during his last year in 1985. Granted only 22 ABs but ouch!

I actually tried a penny, but it would not accept anything lower than 99 cents, and I did not want to be stuck with that big a tax write-off.

If anyone is interested ...

... I'll sell mine for ONLY $1,000! Think about it, nearly 90% off the price of this one. That HAS to be a bargain you can't refuse!

Cheers,
Patrick

I really enjoy listings like this. They make me laugh quite a bit (probably not normal :o). Thank you for this!

Man, what's up!????? Undercutting me by $24K? Now I'll have to take less for mine, and won't be able to offer the in person delivery. :(:(:(

Ok, I guess I can play that. $750. Free shipping, I'll even spring for both priority and the insurance. :D:D:D
