Lets talk about Displays...
Ok, so I know there have been several threads discussing different unique ways of displaying your favorite cards, autographs, etc., and while many of these have been clever displays that I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at, none have been quite what I am looking for.
Many of the display cases or frames that I have seen on the forum seem to be highlighting a few of peoples favorite cards or players in a set, instead of the whole set in its entirety. While I realize space, expense, and security might be a few of the reasons why peoples displays are so limited, I am also interested in finding a realistic way of displaying entire graded sets. All that being said, I was wondering if any of you had any pictures/ideas of practical ways to display entire sets (or at least large numbers of cards). Thanks for your help! |
It depends, how many cards are we talking about?

Ultra Pro 4 Pocket Pages with nice binders are an inexpensive way of housing and displaying graded sets albeit it is not a "display" in the sense that you are looking for. |

I remember someone posting a picture a long time ago. They had a wooden border that held graded cards at the top of the walls all the way around a room. I thought that was pretty neat.

Zack, I rmember that too
Someone who had a whole wall in their house behind glass or plexi, and a near complete set of t206s on the whole thing. For some reason, I am even remembering there was a Wagner among them (Honus, not Heinie).

205 display
Sorry about the poor quality of the picture of my 205s. Each card is in its own rigid top-loader and attached by a tack to a large board covered with green felt, obviously home made. It has been on the wall for over ten years and shows no ill effects. It is in a room with humidity control and no outside light. I never grow tired of seeing it there

Oh okay so did u make a hole through the toploader right?
And very nice custom board |
