Here is a signed 1946 original Ford Frick ball. The ball has been signed by 10 stars of the 1946 World Series champs St. Louis Cardinals including Stan Musial. The interesting story behind this ball is that all of the signatures were obtained at the time of the winning series by Gabby Street. A brief bio of street:

"Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Street had a seven year playing career in 502 games with the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Beaneaters, Washington Senators, and New York Highlanders. On August 21, 1908, Street achieved a measure of immortality by catching a baseball dropped from the top of the Washington Monument—a distance of 555 feet (169 m). Journalist Preston Gibson pitched the ball to him from the top of the monument and Gabby made a clean reception. Street is also known for his friendship as a catcher and mentor of famed right-handed pitcher, Walter Johnson."

The ball was purchased from his grand daughter Jennifer along with other items from his estate.
