Hi all,
I was wondering if its worth going to the WSSCA show from Vancouver Canada. Is there a good amount of pre war? I read some threads but is it worth it for me with a limited budget of around $75 worth it?
Thanks all

There's a lot of pre-war stuff there, and it's really fun. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Matthew: Unfortunately seventy-five bucks doesn't buy a whole lot of vintage cards anymore. You would probably be able to pick up three or four old Zeenuts or Obaks in lower grade at the Seattle show. Maybe a couple of T205s or even a T206 but the emphasis at this show is more on west coast items. What you would experience is the opportunity to see an awful lot of cards all at once plus you would have the chance to talk face to face with some really top flight hobbyists, several that you would recognize from this forum. All of us are always discovering new things we didn't know about cards and old baseball; for a young guy it's a great way to ramp up your learning curve. You can't put a price on that. I'd really recommend that you go. The show is big fun. I'll be shooting down from Victoria and am looking forward to it.
