Stunning portrait style photograph of 20 year old Boston Braves Third Baseman Ed Mathews who was the talk of the National League in 1952 as he was hitting Home Runs at a prodigious rate for such a young man. The image was taken in May 1952, shortly after he made his debut. Issued by United Press and with a long and detailed paper caption on the back. Photo has a few mild scattered creases but overall is quite nice.

Rizzuto $sold ppd (PP F&F, MO, PC)

Incredible photograph from Spring training 1941 picturing Phil Rizzuto who was trying to win a job with the big club. This is a stunning horizontal photo with tremendous detail and appears to be from the same day as his iconic 1948 Bowman Card image was taken (probably a second or two earlier or later!). Condition is nice overall with some light scattered bends and a bold. crystal clear image!
