Wow, I thought I knew the HOF RC market. That's about $500 more than what I paid for mine. Looks like I need to start rethinking things if they are going for so much higher. Yikes!

One in slightly better condition (PSA 4) sold for $413.00 recently on eBay with a type 3 back

I thought the Type 3 actually went fairly cheap, and I think it would have gone for more if it (and the Frisch) had ended on day 2 of the sale, when some other New York commons were getting close to $600-800. That being said the Type 2 back is more common and I think the value of the Hoyt really is in the $350-450 or so range but it is a thinly traded card, the Frisch is a tougher card IMO.

My point.....I agree 100% and I do view your opinion as one of the best.

I thought one went for $1300 a few yrs back but maybe it was a different back?
