Original Lionel Carter personal letter with '33 Goudey content....

This is just a feeler as I've not yet decided to hold or sell but I have a letter that was written to me on April 2, 2003 from the late Lionel Carter. 2 pages long on his Carter's Corner letterhead. 95% typed and 2 hand written sentences to close out the letter.

Very cool content includes: status of a 1933 Goudey card he sold me, details about his health condition, explanation on why he dropped out of the hobby, status of his 1933 Goudey set and his future plans for the set (back then, I simply asked him outright if he would sell me the set.....free country right?:) )
, his WW2 experiences etc etc....

VERY cool and relevant content from a true pioneer in our industry.

Let me know if there is any interest, thanks! mike

Whether you decide to sell or not, I would kindly request that you scan and post the letter on the main board. I'm sure that Net54 members would appreciate it.

Sold

Sold, thanks for the interest. It went to a good home. I will not be posting photos of it since I do not own it anymore. That will be up to the new owner.

Mike

I just saw your post. I hope you got a great price for it because I know of several collectors who would have given a lot to acquire it had it been in an auction format.
