Always appreciate you sharing Jerry. Some nice stuff at the Terry's table but nothing like they had in the mid 1990's! I kind of miss being there so thanks again......

Looks like the Knouse Museum is still intact. I recognize some of those cards from years ago.

This may be a dumb question but how do they ever make any money?I can't find a website...alot of the same cards at shows.I'm sure there priced to the stratosphere.In fact this leads to my next question about pricing not just at the National but any larger show...I'm surprised dealers don't price alot of the less scarce material at a competitive price.I realize certain items will always demand a very high price ex. the move on 14 CJ's.For example:T206's...with popularity why not price a little lower then others.Face it many dealers bought this material at a fraction of the selling cost.
This question wasn't meant to be disrespectful in anyway...I'm genuinely interested.I know alot of the members here set up at shows so any thoughts would be appreciated.Even when I was collecting as a kid back in the late 70's early 80's I noticed the same thing.

Ouch! You must have really needed 300 bucks.

From looking at these videos it seems things haven't changed much. Why do so many of the dealers insist on putting items in their cases that aren't priced? :confused: As a potential customer, I would like to be able to look at the item and see a price prominently posted on the front. I know the price may just be a starting point, but I really don't want to have to ask the dealer what the price is for every item I'm potentially interested in. It wastes his time and mine and can often lead to the dealer getting frustrated with you, when all you wanted to know was his asking price.

This whenever I go to a card show if the person has no price I just skip it

This is the stuff I'm talking about...why..its like they want to show off what they got but heaven forbid somebody buys it they won't be able to show it.Also a way to take trips/meals etc. as a business tax right off.:rolleyes:

2 questions: Are you using a Go Pro? Some of the shots appear as if you are about to fly over the table which were pretty cool so just wondering?

Also, how much was the Ruth bat or were they just showing it off?

Barry - If you noticed I stopped in Tik for a few seconds at those E97 Colgan Chips Proofs - they are rare.

Mike - what is a Go Pro? The show cases end to end long ways are quite a reach. Babe's bat was being shown by an auction company.
