Weird Paypal Situation: secondary email address issue
I just wanted to let everyone know of a potential Paypal issue (they acknowledged it was a problem on their end).
My paypal account has multiple email addresses associated to it, mine NOT being the primary email address. I received an email of payment received for cards sold, but when I checked Paypal the next morning, there was no record of the payment whatsoever. I called Paypal, and they answered promptly. I told them I had received an email for payment, but that it didn't show in the account. The rep asked to which email it was sent. When I told her, she said the problem was due to a known secondary email address problem and asked me to hold. Around 5 minutes later, she told me she had resolved the problem. I refreshed my browser window and the funds were there. Just wanted everyone to be aware in case they have a similar Paypal setup. |
